4th Annual Christmas Pajama Party

Two days before Christmas we had our annual Christmas pajama party with our friends.  Ever since my best friend, Jacqueline, and I became friends we started this tradition of having a little get together for Christmas.  We've done it every year since becoming friends and having our first Christmas together so this was our 4th one.  The kids look forward to it too and start asking as it gets closer to Christmas when we are having our Christmas party together.  We do Christmas crafts, exchange gifts, and the kids play and have a good time, and they stay in their Christmas jammies the whole day.

Columbus Day

On Columbus Day we still did some school work, but since our friends had the day off from school we made time in our day to go play at a big new park and have a picnic lunch with them.  We had a great time there.  It was a huge park with so many fun things for the kids to play on.  Wish it were a little closer to us, or they'd build one as nice as this one near us because it really was a great park.

Aquarium Field Trip

As I mentioned before, on our first day of school we went on a field trip with our friends to the aquarium.  We had a great time.  It was much better this time than when we went in July because it was much less crowded.  We got to see the dinosaur exhibit this time and also the mermaid show.  We missed both of those last time since it was way too crowded.  It was a fun first day of school.

Down on the Farm

We went strawberry picking, and we had so much fun with our friends.  We've never gone strawberry picking before or to this farm that we went to either.  The girls all had so much fun picking as many strawberries as they could.  Then we visited and fed all the animals, had a picnic lunch,  and played on the playground.  We will have to do it again next year.  It was a lot of fun.
