Daddy's Birthday

We started off Daddy's birthday by baking him his favorite cake.  Noah helped me make him hot fudge cake.  Then we celebrated Daddy's birthday by going to his favorite restaurant for dinner, Carrabba's.  After that we came home to give him his presents and help him open them, and of course enjoy the hot fudge cake.  All the kiddos even got a chance to help blow out the birthday candles.

The New Car

Just after Labor Day we traded in our old black Dodge Caravan and got this nice, shiny, new, white Dodge Caravan.  We love it, and I especially love the built in dvd player.  No more keeping up with separate dvd players that the girls keep dropping on the floor and nearly breaking every time.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we decided to all go bowling.  We had a great time together.  Since they built a new bowling alley near us that's very nice I think we will be going bowling more often.  The kids really like bowling.  It's something fun we can all do together.  Later that day we went to Sweet Frog for some ice cream, another favorite of ours.  Then we ended our day with a visit to the beach to play in the sand and the edge of the water a little.

My Birthday

I celebrated my birthday a day earlier this year.  Actually come to think of it I did that last year too because Arron wanted to go to a concert on my birthday last year, and this year he had to work late on my birthday so we celebrated early.  It worked out great though because my aunt and uncle were in town and would be leaving on my birthday so they got to be there too to celebrate my birthday.  We had a yummy dinner at California Dreaming and then went back to our house for presents and cake.  I got candles, a book, a new blender, a pizza stone, and new accessories for the bathroom so I can change the look in there.  It was a great birthday, and I was so glad to have extra family here to join us for it.
