Field Day and Awards Day

We all went to see Noah at field day at his school.  It ended up being a great day for it.  It was nice and overcast so we weren't hot at all outside.  They played lots of relay races, got to draw all over the school sidewalks with chalk, played with a parachute, did the limbo, and had a great time.

Then me and the girls went to see Noah get his awards at the end of school awards day.  He got lots of awards.  He got the citizenship award, computer award, two math awards, two reading awards, and the merit roll award.

Memorial Day

We had a great time on Memorial Day spending it together as a family.  We went and got something quick to eat at Burger King, ate in the car, and then headed to play putt putt.  Anna got a hole in one right off the bat on the first hole.  I think once again we all got a hole in one at some point, but Noah says he didn't.  I was sure he did though.  After putt putt we went down and walked around on the boardwalk at the beach.  We took the kids into a couple of the arcades down there too to play some games, win some tickets, and pick out some little prizes.  They had a great time.  Afterwards we headed to Zaxby's for dinner, then headed home.  Everyone was wore out from being out in the sun all day long and doing so much walking.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Arron had taken the kids out to pick out presents for me.  It was so sweet.  They brought them out to me and were so excited to have helped with them.  Anna's favorite colors are pink and yellow.  She had picked out yellow roses for me and was so proud to give them to me.  I also got my favorite candy, Hershey's Special Dark and a Keurig coffee maker.  For dinner that night we met my mom and went to Carrabba's.  It was so yummy.  We gave my mom her Mother's Day gifts while we waited for our dinner, and then the manager of the restaurant came around and gave us (me and my mom) $10 giftcards too.  What a nice treat to give their customers for Mother's Day.  When we got home we enjoyed a cup of coffee with my new Keurig.

Awana Awards

We had our end of the year Awana Awards, and the kiddies had a lot of fun.  Noah turned in his Awana bucks and got some cool prizes, a football and a basketball.  Anna graduated from Cubbies this year.  She finished her book and got all the badges on her vest.  Kind of makes me sad to see her move up to the next class.  She will be a Sparks next year and wear a red vest, and Gracie will be old enough to join Cubbies then.  Noah got an award for finishing his book in Truth and Training, and he also got an award for most improved clubber.  They all can't wait to start Awana again in the fall.

Down on the Farm

We went strawberry picking, and we had so much fun with our friends.  We've never gone strawberry picking before or to this farm that we went to either.  The girls all had so much fun picking as many strawberries as they could.  Then we visited and fed all the animals, had a picnic lunch,  and played on the playground.  We will have to do it again next year.  It was a lot of fun.
