Christmas Eve I spent getting things ready for Christmas. I baked cookies, pies, bread, made sweet tea, and broccoli casserole. I got gingerbread cookies ready for the kids to cut out and then decorate, so they got to do that. They also opened gifts that they had for each other. Then we got ready and went to the candle light service at church. When we got home from that we watched Frosty the Snowman, and then got Santa's plate of cookies ready for him. The kids wrote him a little note, said one last goodbye to Buddy before Santa came and took him home with him, and then they were off to bed to wait for Santa to come.
