Last week the police department and one of the pancake houses had a benefit to raise money for the special olympics. They had a pancake supper, and all the police officers volunteered to be waiters for the event. Me and the kids and my mom, as well as my best friend Jacqueline and her family all went together. We had a big group for my husband to wait on. He did a great job and showed all the other officers how it's done. They raised around $4500 which means they sold about 650 tickets to the event. Not bad. Afterwards, since it was a nice night, me and my mom took the kids to play putt putt. They cannot get enough of it.

Most of the gang, except for our picture taker, Jacqueline's husband, Scotty. That's a lot of little kids at one table.
