Tree Time

It has become our family tradition to go out the day after Thanksgiving and get our Christmas tree, so that's exactly what we did. That is the extent of our black friday shopping. We don't brave those crowds of crazy shoppers. We just go pick out our Christmas tree, and then go home and decorate. No one could wait to start the decorating. The kids all had a great time, and it's nice they are all at an age they can help out. Gracie had trouble getting her ornaments to stay on though, and she had a habit of once she hung her ornament just grabbing another ornament that was already on the tree so that she could hang it herself somewhere else. She's a silly girl, but we finally managed to get all the ornaments on the tree despite her taking them off. It was her turn to put the star on top of the tree too, so she did her best, but was afraid of being up that high, so Daddy had to help. Now I hope our tree and all of it's ornaments last until Christmas. I'm not worried about Noah but the girls both love to just sit under the tree admiring it and have a hard time keeping their hands off the ornaments.

Running through all the trees.

She is very serious about this.

Noah looks like he is too.

The girls got some step stools so they could hang some ornaments higher up too.

Reaching for the top.
