It has been so hot this summer, so if we go outside to play it has to involve water or we're not going to last very long out there. We got together with some friends for an ice cream party, and the kids all played in the kiddie pools and the slip and slide, and then we had some ice cream to also help cool off. And another day we got together with some friends to ride bikes but we also had a kiddie pool close by to jump into. When we're just hanging out at home we break out our big waterslide and have a blast on that as well.

Beating the heat is so hard to do, especially without water. With temps of 110 here we are doing the same, playing in water and eating ice cream and slushes.
