Easter 2011

We were out of town and got back right before Easter so our Easter activities were a little late, and we had to throw our Easter baskets together at the last minute. We pulled it off though so we had a good Easter. I tried my hardest to get some cute pictures of the kids all dressed up, but they were not having it. I got closed eyes, dresses in the air, and just totally not even looking at me, as you can see from some of these pictures. We didn't get our eggs dyed until right before bed time on Easter. The kiddies all had a great time doing it though, and we tried a new egg dyeing kit where you spin the egg around in this little container. They came out looking kind of tie dyed. They all got and ate way too much candy in their baskets and were so fast and sneaky in eating it, so I had to hurry and empty their baskets and hide all the candy from them before they wound up with upset tummies. Grammy gave them an Easter book that told the Easter story so we were able to read that and talk about the real meaning of Easter with the kids too. It was a wonderful Easter.

Grace isn't looking.

Noah's eyes closed.

Closed again.

The best picture I got, but Gracie was trying to get away and did not want Noah holding onto her.

Checking out their Easter baskets and gifts from Grammy.

The girls.

Please ignore all the chocolate stained teeth.

Anna found an egg.

Noah found two eggs.

Gracie found an egg with all her babies.

Checking out their Easter baskets from the Bunny and their new bubble guns too.

Digging into the candy.

Noah eating a Krabby Patty.

I snapped this one last picture right before they went to change their clothes. Can't believe they were all looking. Notice Gracie has another piece of candy in her hand.

Gracie trying out the new egg spinner.

Dyeing eggs the old fashioned way.

One of Anna's eggs.

One of Noah's eggs.

Gracie liked to just toss her eggs in.

All of our Easter eggs. The ones on the right are the ones done with the spinner.
