Playdates

Me and the girls are really enjoying our Christian mom's playgroup we joined. I'm having a great time getting to know the other moms, and the girls love having some kids their age to play with. I could not have picked a more wonderful group of women to spend time with myself. I'm so glad God led me to this group. We have a Bible Study every other week, and a children's devotional every other week. We meet at the park sometimes or Chic-Fil-A for lunch so the kids can play on the indoor playground there. Every once in a while we have a Mom's Night Out too where just us moms get to go out without the kids. We had one of those a couple weeks ago, and it was so much fun. We went out to eat and sat there for a couple hours talking and laughing and sharing lots of stories. Me and the girls usually go to at least 2 or 3 get togethers a week, and we look forward to each and every one of them. Next week we have the children's devotional and Chic-Fil-A, and the week after that we are going to a farm to pick pumpkins and go on a hayride. I am really looking forward to doing that with the girls.

Last week we also met one of the other mom's that lives near us at the park nearby and let our kids play together for a while. They had so much fun. Anna said she can't wait to play with them at the park again. We might have to make that a regular activity.
